Anyone who knows me has heard me talk about my best friend Miranda and her identical twin girls. Leah and Chloe (left to right in photo) were born 9 weeks early and suffered from a rare identical twin complication in utero. They both spent months in the NICU, but thankfully were eventually able to come home.
Now, at three and a half years old, they are doing much better than initially expected. However, Leah has significant medical issues that require treatment. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and needs intensive feeding therapy to help her learn how to eat and intensive physical therapy to help her with walking coordination and balance. Leah is currently on a waitlist for a three week long intensive therapy program in Boston that they hope to be able to bring her to in the fall. This is where some help is needed. This therapy will not be covered by their insurance and they will need to stay in Boston for three weeks. Any donation is greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate, please consider helping by sharing this link.
