My name is Maya and I am currently a college student living on my own and taking care of my sweet 7 month old kitty Finn. While I was away on vacation, Finn seemed to have eaten something he shouldn't have and is now paying the price for it. We took Finn to the vet as soon as we realized something was wrong, but unfortunately the first vet we visited didn't pay attention to what was really wrong and sent him home promising us he would recover. Because they sent him home without properly addressing the issue, he started to rapidly decline. I brought him to a different vet and surgery is needed. The lack of attention from the first vet caused Finn's kidneys and liver to fail, leaving him extremely weak. I have set up a payment plan and cleaned out my entire savings to go towards this surgery to save his life, but unfortunately we are still about $3,000 short. Finn is the sweetest kitty, cuddling up to every person who meets him and his curiosity continues to run wild. He is only 7 months old and has so much life left in him. If we cannot afford this surgery his bowels will burst and he will unfortunately not make it. Please if anyone can help us save our precious boy I would be forever grateful. I can't lose my best friend.
