The H.U.N.G.E.R. Initiative (Helping Underserved Neighborhoods Generate Equitable Resources) is a Chicago-based, community driven effort focused on expanding equitable access to essential health, hygiene, and nutritional resources for underserved communities across the city.

For too many families, basic necessities like toothpaste, menstrual products, and nutritious food are not guaranteed. These gaps affect dignity and well-being. The H.U.N.G.E.R. Initiative exists to address these inequities through sustainable resource distribution.

HUNGER prioritizes solutions shaped by the communities it serves. Our work is designed as a scalable model that meets immediate needs while strengthening long-term access to care and support.
