Urgent: I want help to restore hope of life to our families

My name is Sam, and I've been in contact with Alaa for a few months. I'm doing my best via TikTok and in real life to raise some funds to help her and her sister-in-law, Abeer, get the medical care they need. Their husband is in dire need of medical care, first and foremost, so these funds will support them there. I'm just a stranger inVirginia, but I firmly believe that Alaa and Abeer's families deserve every bit of support.

Unfortunately, our efforts haven't borne much fruit. Please, any amount helps, seriously. All donations raised will go directly to Alaa and Abeer (100%), and I will keep you updated!

We, Alaa and Abeer, speak to you with a heart full of sadness and pain. These are extremely difficult times. We can no longer bear the suffering. Hunger is worsening, the bombing is intensifying, and life has become extremely difficult. Prices are skyrocketing, and earning opportunities have increased by 45%. I can no longer provide any of my family's basic necessities. Dear friends, I hope you will stand by us. With your generous help, we may be able to provide even a small portion of what we need. This is their story…

“My name is Abeer, from Gaza, and my husband, Ahmed, is a father of four children: Asma, Majd, Mahmoud, and Mona. We lost everything due to the war: our home and my husband's livelihood, in addition to the lack of basic necessities. He and his family have been hospitalized repeatedly due to various health conditions, most recently stomach pains and other health problems. He doesn't have enough money to support his family in this situation. Due to the ongoing war and bombing, the people of Gaza are currently suffering from severe malnutrition and a lack of shelter, with rapidly rising prices of basic goods, such as flour and sugar. That's why I'm asking for help. We just want to provide some basic supplies and shelter for me, my children, and my husband. We all hope that our joint campaigns with Alaa will be successful.”

Here is Alaa's story:

“My name is Alaa, and my husband's name is Alaa. My name and my husband's name are identical in English, with a slight difference. My husband is 40 years old, and I'm from Gaza. My life has become a desperate struggle for survival. My husband suffers from kidney problems and has undergone several surgeries. He also suffers from high blood pressure and gout, but my greatest fear is for the safety of my children, Leen, Nour, Malak, and Nabil.

Our families in Gaza... innocent lives caught in the crossfire of an unrelenting conflict. Their homes, their livelihoods, and ours have been destroyed. Miraculously, we have survived and been displaced multiple times. The shock and uncertainty we face daily is unbelievable.

We have lost everything, and we have nothing left. But in the midst of this darkness, we still hold on to hope. I ask for your humanitarian assistance and support to help us overcome this crisis. Your generous donations will help us secure basic necessities like food, water, shelter, and medical care.

Every dollar you contribute brings us closer to safety and stability.
