My name is Tarrah and we have been friends and neighbors with Dan, Leah and the boys for seven years. On September 3, Dan suffered a serious neck injury. He is currently in Beth Israel Hospital where he is intubated. Thankfully, he is able to communicate using a variety of means. He has a very long road ahead of him.
