Here is excerpt from Wausau channel news 7
“Bradley, Wis. (WSAW) - Two parents have upcoming court appearances in Lincoln County after being accused of neglecting eight children in Bradley. The children, ranging in ages from 11 to 3, have been placed into foster homes.
The criminal complaint states the couple left with the youngest that evening to attend the Tomahawk holiday parade, leaving the other seven at home. Soon after the parade, the couple briefly returned. The eldest child told the property owner that the couple said they would be back “after they go for a run.” The child explained that meant they were going to purchase vapes and marijuana.
The temperature that evening was forecast to drop to -20° F. The property owner told the responding deputy that the RV was heated with propane, but should they lose power due to the freezing temperatures, the children would be without heat.
The eldest told the deputy that the kids had gone without food or had very little food over the last four weeks, adding that while they had access to water bottles, they had run out in the past. The child also said they sleep in the cold in the RV and are not allowed to layer their clothes or wear boots or jackets, “because her parents don’t want the kids wasting clothes.” In contrast, the child said the adults sleep with a space heater and have enough food.
In listening to phone calls Cis made from jail, investigators learned one of the children was hospitalized for malnutrition.”
The property owner took all 8 kids that night so they would not be split up.

The amazingly generous family that took 6 of the 8 children had to purchase a larger vehicle to fit their children plus the 6. As of this time they are not receiving any government assistance for taking care of the children. Currently when the family goes on outings they have to take two separate vehicles in order to fit the whole family.
All donations will go towards the larger vehicle or food to take care of the children.
