Walking 24 km for children’s education in Sierra Leone

Donation protected
I’m setting myself the challenge of walking 24km straight in the month of September to raise money for an incredible cause that is so close to mine and my family’s heart OAKS (Overseas Aids for the kids of Sierra Leone).

I will walk 24km covering the equivalent size of my home area of the Wirral to raise vital funds for children in Sierra Leone who are in need of funds to support their education and hope for a better future.

OAKS is personal to my family and a small but mighty charity making a real difference in the lives of children in one of the poorest countries in the world. Based in Bo, Sierra Leone, the charity runs a school that provides not only education, but also meals, healthcare, and a safe environment for hundreds of children who would otherwise go without.

Every pound raised goes directly to helping kids — paying for teachers’ salaries, school supplies, clean water, and nutritious food. This is grassroots charity work that genuinely changes lives.

I’m asking for your support — whether it’s £5, £10, or more, every donation counts.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page with friends, family, or on social media would mean the world.

Together, we can help OAKS continue their vital work and give these amazing children the opportunities they deserve.

Let’s make every step count.
