Help provide at home care for Brynne Blalock
Donation protected
Hi friends and family,
As many of you know, in December of 2019, our precious Brynne (or as me and my siblings call her, momma) was diagnosed with Early onset Alzheimer’s. Ever since my dad, Duane, has been her loving caregiver everyday. But, as many of you know, Alzheimer’s eventually needs more care than family members are able to provide. Over the past year, Brynne has begun having seizures that cause her to fall, meaning she needs eyes on her at all times. She also is unable to perform daily tasks on her own like eating, bathing, getting dressed, etc. with that being said, we as a family have come to the decision that we need to find at home care for her to ease a bit of the weight from my dad and our family.
Unfortunately, this is something insurance does not cover, and is very costly. Though asking for help from family and friends is not something we wish we had to do, it would mean so much to us if you are able to contribute anyway to help us get this process of care started without causing even more financial stress on our dad.
I set the goal to $20,000 which would cover a little under 6 months of in home care, giving our family a buffer to save up money and make decisions on what is the best next step for Brynne.
If you are unable to give, please know that your thoughts and prayers are also so appreciated and felt. Brynne is the brightest light & we know that her love and warmth have extended to and touched so many.
