Hi, my name is Mike Pearson and I would love for you to join me in raising funds to provide a mammogram scan machine to be used at the new level 4 Tumaini Mission hospital being built by Tumaini International in south eastern Kenya. This machine would be life changing and life saving as it would give the opportunity for early detection of breast cancer in an area that this doesn’t exist. My wife Kathy was diagnosed in the summer of 2022 with stage one breast cancer that was found during a routine, annual scan. The tumor was very small, which made treatment less invasive and recovery percentages much higher, all due to early detection and access to quality healthcare that included a mammogram. Currently, logistics and affordability will keep most women in this region from even having a chance at this life saving procedure, much less seeking treatment for something they don’t know they have. They’ll simply die of cancer in their villages. Please join me and my wife in providing this machine and we’ll begin saving lives together. Thank you..
