Hello, my name is Skye, and I’m 20 years old. On the 28th of July 2025, my world changed forever when I found out I had lost my two beautiful baby girls due to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome.
During this heartbreaking time, I was given three precious days with my girls at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn to say our goodbyes. The hospital staff treated me, my partner, our girls, and our 1-year-old son Tommy with the utmost care, compassion, and respect — something I will never forget.
Since leaving the hospital, I’ve connected with other mums who have experienced this same unimaginable loss. Through these conversations, I’ve learned about cuddle cots — special cooling cots that allow families more time to spend with their babies, either in hospital or at home, to say goodbye in comfort and peace.
I am raising funds to help the Queen Elizabeth Hospital provide a cuddle cot for families like ours. Having the chance to bring our girls home for those last few days would have meant the world to us, and I want to make sure other parents in and around our area have that opportunity.
Any donation, big or small, will help make a lasting difference for grieving families who need that extra time to hold, love, and say goodbye to their babies.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
— Skye
