Livable Ventura, Inc. is launching a new fundraising campaign to support our ongoing efforts to fight overdevelopment in Ventura. Thanks to our generous donors, our nonprofit raised almost $60,000, of which 84% has gone towards our appellate and legal fees. These funds helped bring the 211 Thompson project—a precedent-setting 6-story luxury development—to the Appellate Court for reconsideration. Thank you to the dedicated grassroots volunteers of Livable Ventura who spent hundreds of hours preparing with our attorneys, thus saving valuable resources.

We also achieved a reduction in the height of the Park Plaza project, proving that community action can make a difference. But we know our work is far from done.
