Story

We are fighting for two innocent children who have endured unthinkable neglect and trauma at the hands of a system that was supposed to protect them. The Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) has failed to provide the safety, stability, and oversight these children desperately needed — and the consequences have been devastating.

One child came within moments of losing their life to a fentanyl overdose while in the care arranged by DCYF. Both have been displaced unnecessarily, stripped of their rights, and left without the safeguards our legal system promises every child. There is a strong paper trail of evidence proving the failures, but we must now act quickly to ensure these children are legally placed back in loving, stable homes where they can finally heal and thrive.

We are pursuing legal custody to protect them — but the legal process is costly, and time is critical. Expenses are mounting quickly. Every dollar raised will go directly toward securing permanent, safe placements for these children, giving them the stability, care, and love they deserve.
