SEEKING HELP TO PROTECT THE ANCIENT VEDIC KNOWLEDGE.
Raising donations to reprint the decimated Ancient Vedic literature in the recent flash floods in Hyderabad
All proceeds will go to Arya Samaj Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, India, via the Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple.
Vedas means divine Knowledge that's given to mankind at the time of creation. Vedic knowledge is meant for whole humanity and talks about ideal way of living the life, in harmony with each other.
With an ambitious plan to propagate the Vedic knowledge, all the four vedas (Ved Bhagawan), with commentaries (Divya Veda vani) etc., were written in simplified language. With great efforts these 4100 page and 30 kilogram books were printed.
Prior to public distribution these books were stored in the Aryasamaj Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad office along with other books. Due to unprecedented and incessant rains the city was submerged under flood water for a few days. As the Aryasamaj was located in the basement of the building, the damage to the building and the sacred books was immense.
Vedic Temple is raising this money to support reprinting of the damaged books to keep the light of vedas glowing and the vedic knowledge flowing.
