Help Protect Red Sea Turtles: Support TurtleWatch Egypt!

The Egyptian Red Sea is home to endangered marine turtles, including the green and critically endangered hawksbill turtles. These incredible creatures face growing threats from tourism, boat strikes, pollution, and habitat loss. Since 2011, TurtleWatch Egypt (TWE) has been dedicated to protecting these turtles through conservation efforts, community engagement, and education. However, with our funding ending in 2024, we need your help to continue this vital work into 2025 and beyond.
TurtleWatch Egypt urgently needs your support to continue its critical work in 2025 for Red Sea turtles, their habitats, and local communities. Our base, Marine Life Watch Association, is a nonprofit in Milan, but every donation goes directly toward protecting Egyptian Red Sea marine turtles and empowering local communities to safeguard their natural heritage.
With your support, we can:
1-Expand our photo ID efforts to monitor individual turtles and understand their movements, health, and habitats.
2-Investigate injury causes like boat strikes and entanglement, allowing us to work toward creating safer environments.
3-Engage local communities and children through workshops that build awareness and foster a new generation of conservation advocates.
4-Empower citizen scientists by training divers, snorkelers, and residents to report and document sightings, directly contributing to conservation.
