Last year, Juni was involved in a near-fatal burn accident that clearly demonstrated how unsafe her living environment was. I was determined to keep her safe, but because I did not have proper legal representation, the person responsible for her safety was allowed to maintain contact. Now her safety is in jeopardy again, and the police, CPS, and the courts are refusing to help, known as system failure.

On 2/24/25, I was granted a protective order to ensure Juni’s safety, but the very next day, his attorney managed to have it undone through an ex parte hearing. This is not justice. Money should not be able to override protections meant to keep children safe. The system is failing my daughter, and no child should have to endure this kind of injustice.

I submitted a police report which documented the abuse and concerns about my daughter’s safety, as well as proof that my daughter was being withheld from me by her perpetrator. Despite this, the courts denied the report and allowed him to keep contact with my daughter. This ongoing investigation into her safety has been completely disregarded by agencies set in place to protect children.

Here’s where I need your support:

I need proper legal representation to ensure she is no longer at risk. No parent should have to fight this hard just to protect their child from harm.
