Help Save Our Miniature Therapy Equines from Mountain Lions
Donation protected
My name is Liz Delfs and I've spent 8 years building My Little Horse Listener, Inc., an award-winning nonprofit organization near Santa Fe, NM that relies on 4 miniature equines to provide free sessions to all children, regardless of financial need. (www.mylittlehorselistener.com) We rely completely on donations to maintain the program activities and our equines, two miniature horses named Thor and HotDog, Melly the miniature mule and Serafina, the miniature donkey.
Our small herd is facing an imminent threat to their lives from one or more mountain lions who recently acquired an appetite for their species. Having killed two foals at a nearby shelter, the lion has been tracked within 2 miles of our ranch where our defenseless equines will be easy prey. We now realize that we need your help in keeping them safe.
The most effective way we can protect Thor, HotDog, Melly and Serafina is to provide them with a special fenced shelter that supports a sturdy roof. The approximate cost of this building is $10,000. On behalf of these special animals and the thousands of children who have known and loved our miniature equines, we deeply appreciate your support.
