Growing up in Kenya gave me a deep connection to conservation. As a child, I took part in several Hog Charges and even organised a small “Hamster Charge” cycling event at the Banda School, raising funds for Rhino Ark’s water conservation work. Those early experiences shaped my love for the environment and my respect for the people who protect it.

I’ve always admired Rhino Ark’s commitment to safeguarding vital ecosystems while supporting the local communities who depend on them. Today, while studying renewable energy, I’m even more aware of how important sustainable environmental stewardship is.

Running the London Marathon for Rhino Ark is not only a personal milestone, but also a chance to give back to a cause that has been meaningful to me since childhood.
