Remy Coeytaux, MD, a family doctor in California, is being targeted by Liz Murrill, Attorney General of Louisiana, for allegedly helping a woman obtain an abortion. Murrill is seeking to extradite Dr. Coeytaux to Louisiana to face criminal charges. Thankfully, California Governor Gavin Newsom has denied the extradition request, but publicity about this case has led to the doxxing of Dr. Coeytaux’s private residence and office, putting him in imminent danger.

Dr. Coeytaux is also being sued in federal court by a Texas man who is seeking “nominal, compensatory, and punitive damages” for the alleged “wrongful death of Mr. Rodriguez’s unborn child.” as well as an injunction against Dr. Coeytaux. This suit has further amplified the danger faced by Dr. Coeytaux.
