Help Grow A Beloved Artistic Space for Kids

Hello You! 

Ally and Amy here. We are calling on all of you today because we need your help with a mission. A mission to help support and lift up a woman who in our life and many others has in some small or big way helped us realize our power to use our gifts and talents to free ourselves and others.

Susan Quint, who for over 20  years has changed the lives of so many others with her passion, love, and acceptance is looking to expand her dance studio of 13 years and she needs our help.

After teaching theater, speech, and health for many years in high school settings, She took over a local dance studio to selflessly grant her daughter Ally (hi!) the opportunity to fulfill her dreams of becoming a dancer someday. And much like everything Susan touches, the studio began to turn into much more. 

And while doing all this, Susan hardly ever pays herself - she takes substitute teaching jobs during the day to support her family while she uses almost all the money from the studio to elevate it’s teachers and students - to provide scholarships for students who cannot afford classes - and to start new programs and classes our community needs and asks for. She uses all of her spare time and energy to gather more to give others and just expand the community she pours her blood sweat and tears into... and she shows up to support others' dreams by always leaving the door to her studio open to anyone who needs it. Because it’s who she is.

We have seen firsthand all the children who have learned to fly in their own way with her nurturing. To us, she’s always been a bit of a Wendy Darling, seeing the value in every child. At her studio, there are no small parts.

It has always been her dream to grow her studio into a program where she can welcome all children with open doors and enough resources to include them all. She is just far too humble to believe anyone would show up to help her dream fly in a big way, the way she’s been lifting others all these years.

She needs the help to realize that we know how to embrace our own truths with love and fire - and feel like in whatever small or big way it was in part because she taught us how to once.

Today, we together realized - she was never Wendy Darling, we are. And John, and Michael.

She is a Tinker-bell. Flying in to give us a bit of pixie dust - and teaching us to fly by helping us think happy thoughts. And sadly, many times has depleted her own magic - by sharing all her fairy dust to give others wings. To help children soar all these years, and she has loved every moment of it.

So we need YOU - to clap if you believe in fairies. If you believe in the power of her specific brand of magic to free children from the boxes the world wants to desperately put them in.
