Help Repair Houston's Historic Air Terminal
Tax deductible
The 1940 Air Terminal Museum is housed in the historic art deco terminal building that once served the City of Houston as the Houston Municipal Airport. The building is now a protected landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum leases space from the Houston Airport System, Inc. and is responsible for maintaining the premises.
In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, the facilities were left with significant wind and water damage. While the museum is insured, the deductibles are significant, and The Board of Directors and I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in meeting those amounts.
Donations will be utilized to effect need repairs including: roof repairs to the 1928 Hangar, WR-4,and water damage to the interior of the terminal building.
Thank you in advance for your consideration, sincerely,
