Help Prospect, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

Hello everyone,

Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm, made landfall in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and left unimaginable destruction across the parish and surrounding areas. St. Elizabeth holds a very special place in our hearts, it’s our home parish.

Seeing the devastation of the places we grew up in and traveled every day has been truly heartbreaking.

Our beloved community of Prospect has been hard hit. Nearly 90% of the homes in the area, including those of our family, friends, and neighbors, have been severely damaged or completely destroyed. Many are now without roofs, electricity, or access to basic necessities.

We are organizing this GoFundMe to help members of our community . All funds raised will go directly toward purchasing essential items such as:

• Hygiene products (soap, deodorant, toothpaste, sanitary items)

• Cleaning supplies

• Non-perishable food and canned goods

• Blankets and bedding

• Batteries and flashlights

If you prefer to send supplies directly, we also have an Amazon wishlist available upon request, and we are preparing to ship relief barrels within the next 2–3 weeks.
