Nuttin' Butter Cookies is a small family owned bakery, specializing in nut based cookies. Which stem from a dream I had as a child and fulfilling a promise I made to my grandpa before he died, to follow that dream. With the use of my great great great grandmother's peanut butter cookie recipe. I took a chance on myself when I started my mission to establish this company in 2015. A Innovative company with one main vision, to create an original one-of-a-kind cookie that is not only delicious and made with high quality ingredient's, it highlights each nut naturally. Offering peanut, pecan, pistachio, pine nut, cashew, coconut, chestnut, brazil nut, walnut, macadamia, almond, hazelnut, pili nut and baru nut nut butters. Cookies that set us apart from the traditional standard cookie flavors, with cookies you can only find at my bakery. Through hard work, perseverance and pure determination, I have built Nuttin' Butter Cookies into a company that is 5-star rated on Yelp and Google.

With so many people including my bank who were discouraging and told me that a bakery not selling regular normal cookies "would be lucky to last three months". I believed in myself and nine years later I'm still in business. The journey of following my dream has been sweet and bitter. With several setbacks and hurdles thrown in my path over the years. From surviving a violent assault that nearly ended my life, to getting a severe case of bursitis in my left shoulder from an improperly injected flu shot ,which left me in constant pain and without the use of my entire left arm, plus six months of physical therapy to regain mobility in my arm. To losing my brick and mortar shop due to the financial strain from the aftermath effect Covid-19 pandemic had on my business. To returning back to my original curbside pop-up booth. To endure the cold, winding and rainy conditions, from being set up outdoors in my pop up tent. With each unforeseen obstacle, that caused a financial setback. I adapt and remain resilient, while I stay fully committed to persevere. As a single mother it is important to me to show my two son’s you can achieve what ever goals you have in life with persistence. My son's fuel my drive, to keep pushing forward and aiming for success.

The next stage for Nuttin’ Butter Cookies is a fully equipped food truck/mobile bakery, I call the “cookie cruiser”. Just like my cookies the cookie cruiser will be made from scratch. With the cookie cruiser I can reach a wider audience and build better brand awareness as i drive through neighborhoods (like the ice cream man). Being secure from nature's elements, safely inside the shelter of the cookie cruiser, will keep business flowing, as the storm season approaches and the cold weather cause the pain in my left arm to reoccur.
