Kevin Ray Johnson has been a playwright in the New York theatre scene for over 10 years.
His work has been featured on
        ~The Minnesota Star Tribune
        among many others.

His plays have been presented at
        ~The Davenport Theatre off-Broadway
        ~The Manhattan Repertory Theatre
        ~The New York Theater Festival
        ~John Chatterton's Short Play Lab
and regionally at
        ~The Pier One Theatre in Homer, Alaska
        ~The Artists' Bloc in Washington D.C.
        ~and The Capitol Fringe Festival in Washington D.C.

His work has featured talents such as

Kevin is also a writer for Onstage Blog and has had work published with Musical Theatre Today.

In the upcoming months, Kevin has been given several great opportunities to present his work. These opportunities include
~A staged reading of The Unpredictable Times at The Kennedy Center

~The very first reading of his new play, a love story entitled Birdie & Tim

~A workshop production of A Funny Imagination (inspired by the cartoon Doug)

 ~A potential industry reading on Broadway of one of his plays the first week of October (more news to come in the future!)

Kevin also looks to the future and continues to search for sponsors to help get his works produced on or off Broadway.
