On January 3, 2026, Priyanka was seriously injured during a vacation in California. A slip-and-fall accident resulted in multiple fractures to her right ankle.
Medical evaluations confirmed displaced fractures of both the inner and outer ankle bones, along with injury to the ankle joint. Doctors have recommended surgical repair, including the placement of plates and screws, to stabilize the ankle and support proper healing.
Priyanka does not have health insurance. The estimated cost of surgery alone is between $10,000 and $15,000, with additional expenses expected for follow-up care, physical therapy, medications, and time away from work during recovery.
She is currently in a splint and unable to walk, and delaying surgery could lead to complications or long-term mobility issues. While we are exploring all possible options related to the incident, any insurance claims or legal matters are uncertain and may take significant time, and there is no assurance that costs will be reimbursed.
Funds raised through this campaign will be used to help cover:
• Surgical and hospital expenses
• Post-operative care and rehabilitation
• Medications and medical supplies
• Basic living expenses during recovery
Any support—whether through a donation or sharing this page—is deeply appreciated and will help relieve the immediate financial burden so Priyanka can focus on healing.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Updates will be shared as her recovery progresses.
