Help Prissy with her surgery.

Donation protected
On June 8, 2020, our dog Prissy (aka Miss Priss, Trouble, Boobah, and many other monikers), was diagnosed with having a large mass on her spleen. It's not the best of news, but we have been told removal will give her a better quality of life, and help us understand what we're dealing with. The procedure will be performed June 9, 2020. We have been told the total bill's estimate will be from $3500-$4000  for surgery and aftercare.

We're going to make it work as best we can financially regardless, but my family and I would be eternally grateful for any help that we could get at this time. The payment is expected at time of surgery, so we are scrambling to make plans, pull funds, and find credit to fill the gap.

I would start building the ladder right now to climb up and bring down the moon if that was what the payment was to help this beautiful soul have more time with us.  That is how much she means to me, to my family.

She is a senior Pembroke Welsh Corgi, a rescue we took in around 5 years ago. It feels like so long ago. It feels like yesterday. Prissy has become the shining light of joy within our family.

She has to have a pet bed in every room, just so she can take turns babysitting us as we move about the house. That's a corgi thing -- can't keep the herd out of her sight for long. She'll "go get 'em" and bark on command, chasing after anything we deem a threat -- the squeaky toys, the squirrels on the tree branch, or absolutely nothing at all. Nothing stops her from going headfirst into superhero mode.  She's brave and bold in that way. She's also incredibly smart -- it would not surprise me to find out she speaks fluent English, considering how quickly her ears perk up at the word "TREAT."

She makes us smile, she makes us laugh. She has a beautiful, sweet soul.

She is a blessing.

I would be so very grateful for any extra time she can have with us, even as the future feels uncertain. This surgery is the first step towards that hope.

I don't have the proper words to say how much my family will appreciate any support we can get in this regard. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

God bless, and give your pets an extra treat from me.
