Help Priscilla Recover

Hi, My name is Lisa and I am helping my friend Priscilla Forkner to recover and return to an independent life. For those that know her, she is a vibrant and caring person who is always there to listen or lend a helping hand to anyone. She was operated on last fall for her neck and then later her back. This was supposed to alleviate pain and restore her strength. The exact opposite has happened. Priscilla has had to return to the hospital multiple times for additional surgeries, to remove infection and repair or redo the original surgery. Her last visit to the hospital lasted 3 weeks, this included another surgery and over a week in ICU during which time she was intubated. She is very weak and has a long road to recovery ahead of her, first to regain personal independence, then to return to her career as a hair stylist.

During these past 10 months, Priscilla has always returned to work as soon as she could. This time she will not be able to return right away and will need to take the time to fully recuperate. We are asking you to consider helping Priscilla by contributing to her Go-Fund-Me Account. She has incurred numerous medical bills and needs our help to make it through this difficult time. This Go-Fund_me Account was created with her knowledge and permission. Please know that this has been a difficult decision for her and an indication that she is really in need.

If you are interested in other ways in which you can help, we have people signed up to help with administering IV antibiotics (2x a day for the next 7 weeks), running errands, taking her to the doctor or bringing meals and visiting.
