Help Priscilla Beat FIP: Support Her Treatment

Priscilla came into my life 3 years ago at the age of 7. She came into my world when I needed her the most. She quite literally saved my life. Now she needs me.

Friday night I rushed her to the ER with what I thought was a broken leg. When we got to the hospital, they discovered it was in fact not broken, and what was causing her not to walk was something internal. They did many tests and were aiming towards cancer or heart failure. They told me I needed to take her to a different hospital the next morning so she could get an ultrasound. The doctors here did many tests and drained a lot of fluid from her chest and abdomen. They did not find anything in the ultrasound, but I was told based on the fluid buildup and symptoms that she had cancer and at most a few weeks left to live. At that moment, my entire world was completely shattered. I prayed for a miracle to happen, and that’s when the doctor called me back to inform me that after looking at her fluids under a microscope, she realized it was not cancer and that Priscilla has FIP. I was told about this new medication and how 85% of cats survived this disease with the medication.

I am reaching out to ask for your support in Priscilla’s vet bills as well as medication and follow-up appointments I know she will need. I was lucky enough to be able to put the estimated $3700 charges onto my boyfriend's credit card and am struggling to figure out how I am going to be able to pay that back anytime soon, as well as continue to afford any more medications and follow-up treatments. Any contributions will go towards supporting her medical care, and any extra will be donated back to help support others in need.
