I don’t think words can explain the bond between my sister and Me. Her family is my family. They’ve suffered devastating blow. Chris, Priscilla’s husband, was in a bicycle accident. It’s only been five days, but it feels like an eternity. He was airlifted to Jackson South with a traumatic brain injury. He is currently intubated and sedated Priscilla hasn’t left his side.

Update on Christopher Robinson, my hubby. So, he is much the same as yesterday. Things are still touch and go. Doctors are focused on treating the swelling in his brain and the lung aspiration. Everything is a fine balance. As you know, many medications have side effects so it is a matter of choosing what works best in the moment. He is very heavily sedated right now to keep his pressures down and his breathing effective, so he is not talking, awake, or having purposeful movements. Y’all, stay in prayer. I know my God is awesome. If you have never prayed. It’s a good time to start. I can’t say enough how blessed we are to have so many people lifting us up, encouraging us, looking out for the kids and my parents , bringing me the things I need so I can be by his side, offering me a place to clean up or take a breather. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This post was late as doctors rounded late and I have been supporting his care team any way I can.
They have been married 18 years and have a beautiful family with 5 absolutely phenomenal children.
It appears that this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. But as a family, with a tremendous outpouring of love and support from our village, we will make it to the finish line.
We appreciate the love, support and especially prayers. Thank you. Sincerely.
