Hi everyone!
We're facing a tough road ahead. My wife Priscila has been diagnosed with melanoma, an malignant type of skin cancer, and the oncologist says that amputating her big toe is a must.
Priscila is a wife, a friend and a daughter.
As many of you know her and for those of you who don't, she's the queen of smiles and laughter, always putting others first. She's an incredible human being who's always there to lend a hand (or a laugh). She is generous, kind, honest, caring, and strong woman but everyone needs help sometimes.
Her journey won't be easy – she's got a long road of recovery, physical therapy, and regular check-ups ahead of her. We're grateful for any support you can offer. Here are some of the challenges she'll be facing:
- Learning to walk and balance again
- Managing medium to severe pain
- Using special orthopedic shoes
- Physical therapy
- Potential foot deformation
- Regular check-ups (every 3-6 months) to monitor for any cancer recurrence
- Oral chemotherapy
If you've ever sat at her bar shift, you know she's made a difference in your life. Your support means the world to her! (and to me).
We're forever thankful for your love, emotional support, donations and kindness!
