Hi friends and family. I'm asking for help for my good friend, Prisca. I have started this fundraiser page to help Prisca cover the costs of unforeseen medical bills. Prisca has recently endured many hardships emotional, physical, and financial, not to mention the unimaginable sense of loss, grief, and sadness.

Prisca is an amazing  healthcare worker who had a high-risk pregnancy early this year. Prisca contracted COVID-19 and unexpectedly delivered her baby 4 months early. Prisca gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, they named her Faiza Miracle Ibrahim! During her first 2 weeks of life baby Faiza endured two emergency surgeries, and was in the NICU for several weeks fighting for her life. Baby Faiza fought hard...she lost her battle and she was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on May 19th.

Postpartum depression is real. It is sadness, hormonal changes, and the uncontrollable psychological adjustments to motherhood. But, the loss of a child along with postpartum depression is an unbearable sadness, unimaginable grief, and a loss so overwhelming life can be unbearable to manage. Returning to work in a hospital setting is a reminder of this time of grief and loss, and Prisca and her partner Ibrahim ask for prayers for strength and comfort during this time of immense sorrow and difficulty.
