Hii. I’m Prisca.
Recently, I was kicked out from home and disowned by my family due to my queerness. The situation became highly violent and police were able to intervene but I am now homeless.
I have lived through domestic abuse at home for as long as I can remember and this is my first time finally away from it. I’ve enrolled in therapy, sent in job applications and started on medication.
After over a month of rotting in my friend’s bed, I’m ready to start preparing for the next chapter of my life. I don’t want to have to ever go back there again.
I will be using the money for
- all housing related - deposit, first months rent, bills, furniture, etc : around £4/5k
- debt: around £1k (pls it wasn’t even for me)
- dentist: around £380, I need fillings and have neglected my self care
- supplies for my kitties
Any money not used on these main things will be used as a safety net as I have nothing to fall back on. I’m currently very unwell both mentally and emotionally so I won’t be able to resume working at 120% straight away
If you have anything to spare, every donation is appreciated. More than anything, this is about taking my life back and I’d love to have somewhere I can finally feel safe.
