When Laurel was little, she discovered hidden letters at her family’s forest cabin — signed by a clever creature named Mr. Gopher.

These real letters, written by her grandparents, sparked years of wonder and storytelling. Now, she’s sharing that magic in her warm, beautifully illustrated children’s book, Mr. Gopher and the Band-Aid Box — the first in a planned series, Mr. Gopher’s Adventures.

With your help, these books can be printed, shared, and donated to schools, libraries, and communities , sparking imagination and outdoor play for kids everywhere.
