Hi, my name is Pricilla, and I'm a broke college student asking for help for someone who means the world to me-my cat, my best friend, my little girl.

I never imagined I would be here writing this. I've always been the type to figure things out on my own, and starting a GoFundMe was something I never thought I'd do unless I thought I had no other choice. Unfortunately, that's where I am now.

My cat needs bladder stone removal surgery, a procedure that costs around $3,000. I've already put aside everything I possible can, but as a college student living paycheck to paycheck, this amount is overwhelming and far beyond what I can manage on my own.

She isn't "just a pet" to me. She has been my comfort on the hardest days-when I was stressed, overwhelmed, lonely, or unsure of myself. She's been there through late nights, tears, and moments where she was the only thing to make me feel okay.

She is my baby and now she's in pain, and I can't explain to her why. All I know is that she needs me, the same way she’s always been there for me. I don’t want to give her up so she can have a “better life” somewhere else. I want to be the one who takes care of her, who fights for her, and who gives her the chance to feel better and live comfortably again.

This fundraiser isn’t something I started lightly. I’m doing this because I love her, and because I’m trying with everything I have to do right by her. Every donation—no matter how small—brings us one step closer to her surgery and relief from pain. If you can’t donate, even sharing this means more than I can put into words.
