Help Prevent Trans Homelessness

Nadia is a transgender woman in urgent need of money and is soon facing homelessness. We are raising funds for her to begin to finally prioritize her mental and physical health as well as to be able to support herself to start her medical transition. From birth she has been in abusive environments and faced with serial domestic violence. She currently is uninsured and is dealing with chronic pain and dysphoria, as well as going untreated for mental health issues with no resources. Nadia is known as a dear friend to many in competitive gaming scenes and in feminist organizing.

The 3500 dollars will secure Nadia's housing until the summer and allow her to move to Chicago and to live with the support of her partner and her family.

Any extra funds will go toward furthering her health continuing her transition as well as continuing to support others in the LGBT fight homelessness, assault, and food insecurity through local organizing.
