I lost both of my husbands to cancer within 13 months of each other. Now, I’m at risk of losing my home too. On July 8, 2024, lung cancer took my second husband Dorian . On August 2, colon cancer took my first husband Trey of 26 years. I was his caregiver at the very end—an honor, but also heartbreaking beyond words. Caring for them left me financially drained.
