Help Prevent Eviction From My New Home
Donation protected
Hello,
I am an animation student who recently moved out. The experience has been amazing, and I have found so much happiness since being allowed the freedom of my own space. However, I had a severe mental health episode recently which caused me to be laid off. I had an emotional breakdown and planned thoughts of fatally harming myself. I spent almost two weeks in a psychiatric hospital trying to recover from this incident. Upon being discharged, I went back to work only to be laid off after just three days. I was devastated; the job was one that I truly loved to do.
Things went from bad to worse when my used car’s transmission completely failed. I am now without a car and rely solely on public transportation, ride-sharing, and family to get from place to place.
While I am in between jobs and already have a new job lined up, my bills unfortunately don’t wait for me to start working again. I really love my room (the image on cover) and the place I stay. I was so excited to decorate it and have a space of my own for the first time. But unfortunately, I’ll be letting go of it if I face eviction this month due to unpaid rent.
The amount below is reflective of my necessities, things I need to take care of urgently. I’ve been scrambling desperately for the past two months, but I’ve been wholly unlucky at every turn.
I hate to ask for help in this way, but I am alone with my back against the wall. Any little assistance would be greatly appreciated.
