I was already struggling with financial hardship, am unemployed and have now just lost some crucial income due to the LA fires. Asking for help catching up on rent and bills and I’m nearly 2 months behind and in danger of getting evicted!

100% of these funds will go to catching up on rent (I owe $3300) and bills ($600+) so I am not vulnerable to losing my apartment during this time that I am already sheltering in place.

I took in a friend who evacuated and want to be able to keep doing so if others need shelter. Relieving this financial stress will also help me focus on the next steps and allow me to be of service in the current crisis in my city.

Any amount over my goal will go to more immediate needs and overdue accounts, as well as having a safety barrier to carry me through the next few weeks if I am still unemployed.
