In March of this year, I was viciously attacked by a dog while working for a poop-scooping company. I hadn't worked long enough to earn benefits when this happened, and the physical and psychological impacts of this incident have deeply affected me, to the point that my bills are suffering and now, I am currently under threat of being evicted. It could be today when I come home from work, it could be next week, but money is needed now when it won't be provided.

I have been working closely with an attorney who has been trying non-stop to reach out to this dog owner. She has been nothing but avoidant. She is on the hook for the damage I've been dealt, but she is causing me to escalate from out-of-court to filing a lawsuit.

Every time I worry about a roof over my head, I get angry that she gets to keep hers and her dog that bit me. I still have a slight hematoma bump from when the big bite on my right thigh happened.

Ever since this dog bite, my life has felt like it's on hold financially. Karma has been nothing but turning down for me, so I'm hoping you would be able to chip in to help us avoid eviction. Both my partner and I have exhausted all our resources for help and are at our end's rope.
