Help Prevent Birth Trauma Around the World
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Theo Clarke. With birth of my daughter, I experienced a traumatic birth that changed my life. I was shocked by how little support there was—and how many women had quietly been through the same. That’s why I’m starting the Global Birth Trauma Alliance as a movement to break the taboo, speak out about birth trauma and ensure the policies and support are in place around the world to help women who suffer mental and physical injury through childbirth.
I’ve shared my story publicly, written a book, and campaigned in Parliament for better care. But I kept hearing from more and more women who still feel invisible, unheard, and alone. We need to do more. We need to make sure every woman, here in the UK and around the world, can speak up and get the help she deserves.
Starting this movement is deeply personal. I want to turn pain into purpose — to break the silence around birth trauma and push for real change. But to do that, we need your help. We’re raising £50,000 to begin this vital work with partners, continuing work in the UK and growing a global alliance. And as we grow, we’ll need continued support to make the biggest impact possible.
Please consider donating today—every pound truly helps. And if you can’t give right now, sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family can make just as much of a difference. Together, we can give women the care, voice, and dignity they deserve.
