I have recently been served with a lawsuit in the amount of over $4000 in connection with debt leftover from my divorce over a year ago. I do not have the savings to cover this after I've been struggling to catch up with the over $15,000 in total debt my ex-wife left me with. I would be able to pay this off eventually, but with how time-sensitive the lawsuit is I am asking for help, I have 30 days to come up with the money or I will be forced to file bankruptcy to settle it.
