Help Preto Walk Again

Hi, my name is Julia, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a lot of hope. My sweet dog Preto has been my best friend and loyal companion for years, but two weeks ago, his life changed suddenly.

It started with him having trouble walking with his back legs, and within days, he lost the ability to move them at all. Preto was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a heartbreaking condition that has drastically affected his mobility and quality of life. In the past two weeks, I’ve taken Preto to two veterinarians in San Diego and two different clinics in Mexico. He’s had two blood works, an MRI, and multiple evaluations. So far, I’ve spent $1,632 trying to find answers and help him.

The MRI results show that Preto needs surgery as soon as possible. The cost of the surgery will be between $10,000 and $15,000, and on top of that, he’ll need physical therapy, medications, and other treatments during recovery. The sooner we can do the surgery, the better his chances are of walking again, according to his veterinarian.

Preto is a happy, loving soul who deserves the chance to run and play again. I’m asking for your help whether it’s by donating any amount you can, or by sharing this campaign with your friends and family so that we can raise $15,000 to cover the surgery and his recovery care.
