Hello everyone! I wrote an original play called "Doubt That the Stars Are Fire" for my Senior Honors Thesis at Pace University, and we are raising money to take it to the next level! This play has been a labor of love of mine for the past year, and I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with so many talented actors who helped workshop this play under the guidance of our director, Larry Ruth. We are now in the process of producing the staged reading of the play to garner support from investors and producers in the entertainment industry to take the play commercial. The script has begun to be sent out to industry professionals, and it is humbling to know that there are already so many people interested and looking to back this piece of theatre. The funds will go towards renting a professional theater venue for the reading, renting rehearsal space, paying for supplies such as binders and scripts, and MOST IMPORTANTLY to pay our talented actors and stage manager for their work. We are looking to raise the first $1000 in the next two weeks, and then the final $1000 in the weeks following! Your support would mean the world to me and the team behind this show!
