Queen Morrigan: Today we lost our loyal best friend, our family protector, and our infamous stick hoarding beast. Morrigan lost her appetite the other day, and began throwing up, but was coherent and seemingly okay. She seemed tired, but not in pain or seriously ill. After her not wanting food at all yesterday, we decided to take her to the vet. She was up walking around, she went out in the rain, drank water and held it down. She even laid down next to us while Victoria dried her off with a towel. She excitedly jumped in the car when it was time to go, and we proceeded to the vet. When we arrived, Morrigan was no longer with us. The vets rushed her in, but she was gone.
We cannot convey to you the immense pain we are in.
We never thought she would leave us like this. I pictured Morrigan growing old and ancient, still forcing us to throw her microscopic sticks for years and years to come.
It has always been my dream to have Morrigan preserved and stuffed sitting in front of a stick, how all of us remember her. Starting at you, trying to use her psychic powers to make you play fetch with her till the end of time.
I could barely handle leaving her at the vets office, in their freezer. It feels so wrong. Having her factory cremated feels so wrong.
The cost of taxidermy is way more than I imagined.A place in Burbank is the cheapest running at $4200.
The vet is only holding Morrigan for 1 day while we make a decision on what to do with her body.
Any donation, no matter the size will help. Please help us bring Morrigan to life again.
Thank you
