Help Preserve the Memory of Hasan Suleman

On his way home from The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, my brother Hasan Suleman passed away in a car accident on March 9, 2022. Hasan was months away from his high school graduation. A loving, cheerful and brilliant young man, Hasan was always there for everyone—his parents, his family, his friends and anyone else who needed a shoulder to lean on, a laugh to cheer themselves up, or some help with a difficult problem.

Wherever he went, Hasan was a light of cheer, joy and love. He was incredibly intelligent, driven by both his passion and compassion, and had a bright future ahead of him. Hasan was a straight-A student, a leader in his extracurricular activities, and a role model for his peers. He made a lasting impression on every person he interacted with through his personable manner and unforgettable smile and hugs.

My family and I have started this fundraiser to help honor his legacy and help students succeed in their future endeavors.

Donations will be used to establish a scholarship fund in Hasan’s name for a graduating senior who best exemplifies Hasan’s personality. Funds will also be used for the creation of a quiet sitting area in the school’s main courtyard pictured below.
