Hi, I’m Binayak “Bin” Gurung, a Massachusetts-based businessman and founder of Summit to Success, Inc., a nonprofit connecting education and opportunity across borders.

I’m raising funds for The Gurkha Heart: Tales of a Warrior, a documentary preserving the voices of Gurkha veterans and families whose stories are rapidly fading with time.

This isn’t a concept — it’s already in motion.

We’ve completed the production blueprint, cinematographer’s brief, archival plan, interview master list, consent protocols, and editing scope. Our first collaborators, including a Nepal-based researcher, co-editor, and cinematographer, are confirmed. The groundwork is done; all that remains is to begin filming.

This first chapter will be filmed in Nepal, capturing real people, real memories, and the quiet strength that has defined generations.

Our goal is $6,500 to cover local crew, travel, and post-production costs. Every dollar goes directly to production, and anything beyond that supports Summit to Success’s classroom and scholarship programs inspired by the Gurkha legacy.
