We are excited to share the incredible journey of our 25 scholars who participated in the school's inaugural week-long HBCU college tour. Traveling from Los Angeles, CA to Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, this transformative experience allowed our students to visit seven prestigious Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as three significant historical landmarks. From walking the halls of these esteemed institutions to reflecting on the powerful history at The Lorraine Motel in Memphis, the Tuskegee Airmen Museum, the Mississippi River, and Alabama's Legacy Sites, our scholars deepened their connection to Black heritage, education, and leadership.

To honor and preserve the memories of this life-changing trip, we plan to create a commemorative photo memory book. This book will capture the highlights, stories, and emotions from the tour, serving as a lasting keepsake for each scholar. It will not only celebrate their achievements and growth but also inspire them and future students to continue pursuing excellence and understanding their cultural legacy. The memory book will be a tangible reminder of their journey and the powerful impact of HBCUs and Black history.
