Hi,
My name is Spencer Wootton, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 203. I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Project of improving natural trails at Joaquin Miller Park to support Friends of Sausal Creek. My project will benefit the park in two major ways:
- Building 100ft of fencing in the Fern Ravine trail to ensure visitors stay on the trails (starting from the existing fencing in the featured pictures).
- Mulching different trail areas to help improve safety and natural beauty.
These trails are an essential part of Joaquin Miller Park, providing a space for recreation, exercise, and connecting with nature. Over time, heavy use has damaged the trails and surrounding areas. Without proper care, the trails become less safe and enjoyable for everyone. My project will help preserve this space for future generations to enjoy, while also protecting the environment.
Your donations will go towards purchasing materials like lumber, screws, and tools to complete the work. I am not a 401(c)3 and donations are not tax deductible. Any donations collected that are not spent on the project will be donated to Friends of Sausal Creek.
It means a lot to me that you are willing to help me fund my project. This is the last step in my Eagle Journey and I greatly appreciate your support.
