Preserve Foot Launched Flight in Telluride, CO
Since 1973, the Telluride Air Force has pledged to safely provide access and oversight to the foot launched aviation community (hang gliders, paragliders, and speed gliders) in Telluride, Colorado, USA.
The Telluride Air Force stands by its mission to continue free flight for generations to come from sites like Gold Hill. However, due to massive insurance increases in 2021, our mission is in danger. Even after increasing membership dues to all resident and visiting pilots, we are unable to meet the cost of the insurance premium and now the Gold Hill Launch is closed to all aviation indefinitely.
The Telluride Air Force needs your help in reopening and conserving this world-class flying site for all the aviators yet to come!
The Telluride Air Force is a 501(c)(3) organization.
