For more than half a century, HMCS/CFB Cornwallis was the beating heart of Canadian military training. Over **500,000 Canadians** passed through its gates — young men and women who would go on to serve our country at home and around the world. Their stories shaped Canada’s history. Their service shaped our freedom.
Today, those memories are at risk of being lost.
The **Cornwallis Museum** was created to preserve the legacy of every recruit, every instructor, every veteran who walked the grounds of Cornwallis. We are building **Canada’s largest digital military training archive**, collecting photos, documents, stories, interviews, and artifacts that would otherwise disappear forever.
But preserving history takes resources — and we need your help.
This fundraiser supports:
- **Digitizing thousands of historic photos and documents**
- **Expanding the online veteran archive at CornwallisMuseum.com**
- **Restoring and preserving physical artifacts donated by veterans and families**
- **Maintaining servers, storage, and digital infrastructure**
- **Creating new exhibits that honor the people who served**
Every donation, big or small, directly protects Canadian military history. Every dollar helps ensure that future generations can learn about Cornwallis, its impact, and the veterans who trained there.
This museum is not funded by government grants. It is powered by **volunteers, veterans, and supporters like you** who believe that Canada’s military heritage deserves to be preserved — not forgotten.
If Cornwallis touched your life, your family, or your community…
If you believe in honoring those who served…
If you want to help protect a piece of Canadian history…
Please consider donating today.
**Together, we can preserve the legacy of Cornwallis and the veterans who built it.**
