Help Preserve a Historic House

Hi, my name is Art Mize. This unique Victorian house built in 1890 has been my family home and the location for my music-centered home business since 2002. In December, the foundation on one side gave way and the wall swung out and has partially collapsed. The floors have been shored up just enough to prevent the building from collapsing further, but shoring up every floor is necessary before the wall can be taken down safely and then rebuilt. I have paid dearly for insurance, but Liberty Mutual has denied my claim by excluding any problems involving the foundation. So I am desperately seeking funding avenues, as the first step (taking down the wall) is urgent so that my neighbors can move back in next door. This is in the North Historic District in Lexington, Kentucky and I've never seen an oriel window with fluted copper roof over it like this one. It would be so tragic to lose another awesome historic building here. Lexington's charm is so greatly constituted by its historic architecture! I love this building and am heartbroken at the prospect of its demolition.
